I am a wannabe writer in progress on my first novel. It's slow going, but I will eventually develop a work ethic. I like to write about people with psychic abilities best of all.
When I am not writing, I am usually at work, sleeping, or very occasionally working out. I like to read the sorts of things I like to write, except other people are better plotters than I am. I also like to read superhero comics, particularly DC.
About this Journal
I'll try to keep it to "dang" and "heck", but sometimes you just gotta drop a four-letter word. I'll try to keep the F-bombs to a minimum. Sometimes you have to have an emotion.
Comments will be moderated to the best of my ability. I'm not going to freeze comments for stupid things, but don't be a jerk. Being a jerk includes being sexist, racist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, antisemitic, fat-phobic, as well as being a generally odious person. There are always going to be arguments about whether something is or is not prejudiced; I mainly ask that you listen and try to learn if someone tells you that your words are hurtful. If I have said something you find hurtful, please let me know.
Anonymous comments are screened by default; non-trolling comments will be unscreened as soon as I get the chance.
That said, while I try to moderate my comments to make my journal a place I feel comfortable in, that does not mean my journal will necessarily be a safe space for you.
Reading Policy
I subscribe to journals I find interesting. I expect other people do as well. If I have subscribed to your journal, I do not expect to be followed back, although that's always nice. Likewise, I do not have an unlimited amount of time, and will not subscribe to everyone who subscribes to me.
